Bug fixes and improvements (Mar 2025)

We released some bug fixes and minor updates to make your OneDirectory experience just a little bit better!

🏦 Updated the Organizational Units group heading to Organizational Structure in the field settings, in preparation for some exciting new features we're working on

🎯 Moved Skills field into Job Information section in field settings

🤖 Setup Assistant: Removed 3 of the less-relevant 12 onboarding steps to streamline the process. Also improved the descriptions, and changed the order of the "customize" steps.

🔗 Profile menu (top right): updated styling and updated Product Updates link to point to the new News Center at news.onedirectory.com

📃 Content updates on the trial registration page

🐛 Fixed a bug with apostrophes in accountName field (OneDirectory profile account names are generated from the email address; who knew email addresses could contain apostrophes?! 🤷‍♂️)

🐛 Fixed issue where new organizational units are now disallowed from using the name "Team" to prevent conflicts with the existing "Team" (department) organizational unit.

🐛 Fixed a sync progress issue in the Setup Assistant

🐛 Fixed tap glitch bugs by removing underline from all links on touch devices

🐛 Fixed a recently introduced issue with the sidebar flyouts not hiding themselves when you click an item in the flyout

🐛 Fixed a mobile UI glitch when tapping sidebar items
