October 2025 was packed with OneDirectory updates, including a new filter by location feature, a refreshed header design throughout the app, the ability to download all lists to CSV, and a lot of behind the scenes work for the upcoming custom fields functionality.

We also made many smaller improvements across the board - here are some of the highlights:

🤼 Groups are now collapsed by default and have been redesigned to be more compact and easier to use.

🌄 You can now click on city, state, and country in the offices list view to view everyone in those locations.

🔻 When sorting a column in list view, blank values now always appear at the bottom, making it easier to scan and compare data.

🙌 OneDirectory-specific custom fields are now searchable and are displayed in the entity search results.

🔍 Search box improvements and design updates to the entity search results blocks.

👨‍🏫 Various profile improvements in view and edit mode: larger country flag, new icons for employee type and ID, standardized headings and placeholders, auto-focus when entering edit mode, improvements to skills and interests editing, and job title field editing enhancements.

🔁 Switched the position of the Save/Cancel buttons in profile edit mode: Cancel on the left, Save on the right, to match modern UI patterns

📅 The Hire Date field on the profile now shows "Joined" as the heading when in view mode.

🔗 URL fields now display social icons if the link is for a social profile like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube etc.

🐛 If an office has a U.S. address, the state is now correctly formatted in the single line address so copy/paste is accurate

🐛 Fixed sorting bug with numbers incorrectly being sorted as text and not as numeric values

🐛 Fixed field settings bug with multiselect tags not able to be deleted in certain instances
